General Notes: Courses marked with an *asterisk lead to accreditation and are offered in conjunction with Cambridge Regional College. Most forms of accreditation on offer involve the presentation of coursework rather than exams. Students not wishing to seek accreditation are welcome to join these courses but will be charged an additional £50.00 per term. General Interest Courses 2008
Basic First Aid for All
Two courses this year:
Friday 1 February 2008 from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
Monday 4 February 2008 from 6.30 to 9.30pm.
Cost: £21.00.
Venue: Comberton.
Men Back in the Kitchen
Starts 14 January 2008.
Mondays, from 7.30 to 9.30pm (8 weeks).
Expand your repertoire or, for confident beginners, covers a variety of delicious supper dishes.
Cost: £75.00.
Venue: Comberton.
PTLLS Certificate [New Course Details]
Starts 8 April 2008.
Alternate Tuesdays, from 9.30am to 3.30pm (six sessions).
An initial teaching qualification for those who work with adults.
Cost: Refer Community Education
Venue: Comberton.
Traditional Indian Cookery [New Term Details]
Starts 16 April 2008.
Wednesdays, from 7.30 to 9.30pm (5 weeks).
Learn to make and take home delicious traditional Indian food each week with Rama Ram.
Cost: £37.00 per term.
Venue: Comberton.
Community Education General Interest courses are also available at nearby Bassingbourn and Melbourn Village Colleges. You can obtain a free copy of the full Prospectus booklet, which covers all three centres, from the Community Education office in the main reception area of Comberton Village College.
